“Fall” in Love with this Season’s Fashion
Fall fashion is here, and in case you are wondering what items to make room for in your closet, we tapped our very own Macy’s Style Crew for their favorite fall looks. We’re lucky to be in the know, thanks to our style experts. Get ready for bold, colorful fashion that walks on the wild side.
We interviewed Noura Barnes, Digital & Social Selling, Macy's Style Crew, and Adrianne Vizcarra, Operations, Macy's Style Crew, about the season’s trends.
Why is Macy’s Style Crew (MSC) such a great fashion resource for us?
Noura: MSC is such a great resource because it’s authentic content featured by our very own colleagues showing off the best of the best at Macy’s. I love seeing how different ambassadors pull together pieces in unexpected ways. It’s the ultimate shopping list.
Adrianne: MSC posts are authentic to our style ambassadors, who talk about the products they feel the best in and love. I think our audiences really connect with that authenticity.
How would you describe the trends you’ve highlighted for us and what is your favorite?
Noura: I’m wearing both the green and plaid trends. I love mixing trends, such as an animal print dress in green.
Adrianne: I would describe this season’s trends as a mix for all: animal print, jewel tones and plaid. I think everyone can really pull from these trends to create a look of their own. My favorite is the green scene trend (I’m wearing it in the photo I’ve shared below).
Why should we be excited to follow the outfits of MSC ambassadors this fall?
Noura: I love jewel tones for fall and emerald green is such a showstopper. Nothing is more seasonal than a good plaid.
Adrianne: I think you will see how our ambassadors style these trends their own way and have fun with it. We have seen some awesome looks so far and it’s only the beginning. Just follow the #macysstylecrew hashtag and take a look for yourself.
Why did you choose to showcase the “Green Scene” in your photos?
Noura: A solid green look feels really luxurious. With the change in weather it’s a nice, versatile pop of color.
Adrianne: I believe green is a color that goes with all skin tones and hair color so it’s very flattering. It’s also perfect for content outdoors because of the foliage’s changing colors!
