Cincinnati Central Associates Step Up with Pedometer Challenge

Each spring, Cincinnati Central associates lace up their walking shoes and prepare for the annual Walk for the Cure Pedometer Challenge, created to increase diabetes awareness and inspire fitness.

Participants are challenged to log more than 50,000 steps in 10 days. They may track their progress with their own pedometer or purchase one at the event kickoff, and lunchtime walks downtown are scheduled every day to provide added incentive.

All walkers who reach the 50,000-step milestone are eligible to participate in a special Denim Day, and they are entered into a drawing for tickets to a Cincinnati Reds baseball game.
