Macy’s Saddled Up with Pink Pony in Fight against Breast Cancer

Macy’s invited associates and customers to join the fight against breast cancer in October with an inspirational and fashionable campaign that puts the focus on a disease that affects women and those who love them.

Since 2013, Macy’s Pink Pony campaign has raised awareness and funds for the Ralph Lauren Pink Pony Fund for cancer care and prevention. Through the generosity and support of our associates and customers, Macy’s has helped raise more than $5.5 million in the fight against cancer. This year, those united in the fight were able to show their support through the purchase of a new, limited edition Pink Pony bracelet, with $4 benefiting the Pink Pony Fund. Also new this year, store and support associates were invited to submit a Pink Pony Promise selfie with their pledge that honored a family member or friend, celebrated survivors, or expressed a commitment to living a healthier lifestyle. Click here to view the photo gallery.

Macy’s shared its passion for pink with customers and associates through a specially curated collection of fashion and home product in stores and in its online Pink Shop at Brands including Coach, Charter Club, Guess, KitchenAid, Sunglass Hut, Thalía Sodi and Under Armour donated a portion of the sale of special pink merchandise to various breast cancer support organizations.

This year, Macy’s Ideology brand made a $100,000 donation to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) and created a special capsule collection of active wear that promotes breast cancer awareness. From hoodies and tank tops to graphic tees, sweatshirts and leggings, these pieces inspire women to “Fight Like a Girl” and look good while doing it.

And Macy’s joined the Estée Lauder Companies’ Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign to support BCRF through sales of the BCRF Beauty Sampler, a collection of eight travel-size samples of favorite brands from Clinique, Bobbi Brown, Smashbox, Michael Kors and more.
