Macy’s Customers, Associates Help Make Wishes Come True

This year, Macy’s celebrates our biggest milestone in total giving to Make-A-Wish, a nonprofit organization that grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. This year, thanks to our customers and associates, Macy’s will celebrate $100 million in total giving to Make-A-Wish since 2003. That’s nearly three wishes granted every day for the past 13 years!

Wishes Work Magic

A wish experience can be a pivotal point in the course of a child’s treatment, making them feel better and, in some cases, helping them get better. Watch this special video from Make-A-Wish President and CEO David Williams about just how impactful a wish experience can be.

Macy's is transforming lives, one wish at a time. Since 2003, more than 2.4 million people have been impacted by the wishes Macy’s has helped grant, including Wish kids and their families, volunteers, community groups, doctors, nurses, and more. The timeless bonds and memories Macy’s has created have helped Make-A-Wish kids through treatments, helped them overcome doubts and despair, and helped them feel and get better. Hear words of thanks from Wish recipients Buddy, Evan, Joysse and Natalie.
